The Heart of England Way is a 166km walk which cuts through the West Midlands (passing between Birmingham and Coventry). Its endpoints are Milford, on the north rim of Cannock Chase, and Bourton on the Water.
The Heart of England Way Association keeps a website, but has no dedicated information about public transport.
A guidebook is available, which has very basic public transport details. Note, though, that there are numerous errors which have not been attended to following proofreading, and that the maps are not the easiest to read.
We have compiled a pair of public transport matrices which account for walk-in/out distances.
