A walk of 129km, linking stations between Carlisle and Newcastle.

Public transport connections (principally, of course, the stations) are available throughout. Hexham is the clear choice as base, but any station will do.

Observations

Walkers should note that the two sections linking Wetheral with Haltwhistle via Brampton may need support other than the rather sparse bus services in the area.
