Green walks in Northern Ireland / Tuaisceart Éireann

This region is bounded by the coast and the land border with the Republic of Ireland.

The primary route must be the Ulster Way, though there are other routes as listed by WalkNI. Clearly, there will be areas where the travel options are thin on the ground, but these may be skipped, along with connecting road sections of the route — skipping the latter is encouraged by WalkNI.

Translink provides public transport services within Northern Ireland, and offers a comprehensive route-planner.

Selecting the route name in the list below will give you more detail, and selecting the route name on that page will lead you to the route’s principal authoritative resource.
