Kirklees Way

Kirklees Way

Length >60km
Max transport gap <20km

A walk of 120km encircling the Borough of Kirklees.

Public transport connections (40 locations, 3 matrices) are available throughout.

Walkers should note that the bus connection at Wessenden Head is limited to Tuesdays and Saturdays. Huddersfield is the obvious base station.

Green Walks UK was unable to find an authoritative source of information for the Kirklees Way. It is, however, waymarked and marked on Ordnance Survey maps. A 1995 publication may be tracked down, but of course there will have been changes to the local geography since then.
