Max transport gap <20km
A walk of 144km between Banbury and Stamford.
The route follows the Jurassic Ironstone ridge. Public transport connections (25 locations, 1 matrix) are available at key staging-points. The link-nodes are rather fractured, making multi-day base stations difficult to arrange.
Walkers should note the public transport limitations in the north of the route.
