Chiltern Railway Walk
Length >60km
Max transport gap > 30km
A 288km walk between London Marylebone and Kidderminster.
This work in progress, written up between London Marylebone and Gerrards Cross, links consecutive stations on the Chiltern Line from Marylebone to High Wycombe, Birmingham and Kidderminster. There are public transport connections throughout. Any station may act as a base station (though Denham Golf Club, Seer Green and Jordans, Saunderton, and Kings Sutton are less probable options): apart from a London or Birmingham base, High Wycombe and Leamington Spa make for the best base stations.
Observations
Walkers should note that public transport options between stations at Haddenham and Bicester, and between stations at Banbury and Leamington Spa, are rather limited.
